Professor Jones's proposed public forum format appears to be more about crowd control and advancing an agenda than soliciting public input. This sort of thinking is disappointing and I trust the PAS and JSC will have a similar reaction. The JSC need go no further than follow in the footsteps of the Clayton School Board in how they offered public forums re: the Voluntary Desegregation Program -- a detailed presentation followed by an unmoderated open microphone.
