JSC Process Integrity and Trustworthiness

The front page of the August issue of Clayton's City Views newsletter announced that the JSC decided to hold two public forums in the fall. While this announcement as well as front page coverage are to be applauded, nonetheless the JSC did not even discuss let alone vote on this measure nor did it vote to empower the Public Awareness Subcommittee to take this action. This move was orchestrated behind closed doors without the knowledge of all JSC members. This sidestepping of the JSC is simply another example of why the integrity and trustworthiness of the JSC process must be discounted.
